Step 1 – Grind

Weigh 16g of coffee, grind it to a course grind size, this should be the consistency of sand.

Step 2 – Rinse

Place the V60 filter paper into the cone.
Pour freshly boiled water through the filter; this will get rid of the slight paper taste.
Discard the water.

Step 3 – Prep

Place the V60 & server onto the scale.
Add the ground coffee and zero out the scale.

Step 4 – Start

Start your timer.
Using a swirling motion, slowly pour 40g of water onto the coffee; ensure all grinds are saturated.
Let is “bloom” for about 30 seconds.

Step 5 – Add more Water

Add the remaining water in a clockwise motion, tracking between the inside edge and centre of the V60. This should take around 1min to reach the total amount of water added (250g).

Step 6 – Brew

Let it Brew.
Once the brewing is complete and all the water has passed through, remove the filter and pour your coffee.

Step 7 – Drink
